My Stories

Anyone who knows me knows I have stories to tell. I like to bring humor to my life in just about every way. I do have to be careful though to make sure I don't offend anyone accidentally. While I am an open person, who believes in individual freedoms, I also think it's important to be responsible.

I hope my readers enjoy what I have to say about a life that includes humor, an odd view that seems to attract oddness in my life, and a zest for lifelong learning, evolving and becoming better. Either way, let me know what you think - just be honest and constructive, not venomous.

I live on the coast of Florida where I've relocated to be near my "kids" and their families. As we settle in for a ore hot, and probably stormy stretch this week, I'm reminded of my mother talking of the terrible heat wave in New Jersey where I was born, and must admit I don't do well in the heat. Living near the beach and coastal breezes makes the summers a little hotter, but a little nicer than those in Maryland where I grew up and spent my career. The winters are much better here - I think I only wore long pants on 2 days in he last year- and most of the year is better weather than I am used to. I do miss the seasonal drama, and family heritage ties I have to Maryland.

Since my life revolves around family and friends, I plan to include a index to who's who in my life, but you have to promise to mot judge or blame my family and friends for what happens in these posts, even though I promise not to stretch the truth too much in my blog.

Next up I will clean up the look of the blog, add an index and do a post based on a golf tournament outing of a few years ago to prep you for what I expect will be a just as crazy as the one I was in the last time. No need to be a golfer, or even need to know about golfing as you will see...
